History and development strategy

The Abraham Academy was founded in 2019.

The main driving force behind the Academy is its founder, Rabbi Eliyahu Gabai. Rabbi Gabai has specialized in the field of conversion for over 30 years, being an experienced certified judge of various levels.

Rav Gabai is the author of over 6 printed publications on conversion - one can say that he is one of the outstanding specialists of our generation on this topic.

Under his leadership, the Academy is actively developing and in the next 5 years plans for itself the following development milestones:

to the program in three languages (Hebrew, English, Russian) to open groups in French, Spanish, German.
expanding our own educational space and real estate for receiving in Israel according to the educational programs of individual students, as well as entire families studying at the Academy - for conducting intensive practical classes and workshops.
development of our own capacities for shechita and kashrut.

Distance learning has been introduced

This allows for Jewish education and access to multi-thousand-year-old traditions from remote points of the world for bearers of different cultures. Distance learning also allows for the optimization and organization of the complex life and work schedule of students.
Excellent teachers

Our teachers are regular participants in full-time yeshiva programs, active rabbinical courts, and other religious Orthodox institutions. Their skills, education, and experience working with students set a high bar for our school.
